David Mesnard

(Owner, builder and onboard Instructor of Ocean Dancer)

Hailing from France, David has lived in the Maldives since 1989.  He is a diving instructor and keen free diver/surfer.

With over 10,000 dives mostly done in the Maldives, David will be able to take you to those special and remote dive sites that his time and research into this pristine destination has allowed him to discover. 
He loves to share his knowledge about this special place and all the uniqueness that this location has to offer.

Ocean Dancer is David's vision and he is responsible for the overall operation of the vessel. His pleasure is to ensure your trip is one full of once in a lifetime memories.
He looks forward to welcoming you aboard.

Gaelle

(Operations Manager)

Originating from France, Gaelle is responsible for the logistical operations of Ocean Dancer.

She works side by side with David making sure that all of the details “Go Beyond” your expectation of your Adventure while on board Ocean Dancer. She will ensure that all is handled professionally during your stay.

Zareer

(Captain)

Captain Zareer is from Rakeedu in The Maldives.

He brings to Ocean Dancer over 20 years experience sailing in the Maldivian waters.  In addition to having sailed and navigated these waters, he is also a diver, and knows the types of sites that make a divers dreams come true. 

He can help you find the hideaways for those critters of interest… just ask and Zareer will “steer” you in the right direction.

Sumi

(Massage Therapist)

Sumi is the new full time professional spa therapist on board Ocean Dancer.
There is no better way to continue the relaxation of a great dive or surf session than to finish with a Balanese or Shiatsu massage.

Sumi has been trained and worked at several of the top spas all over the world. (Spa services incur additional charges.)

Razu

(Chef)

To add to our friendly staff, meet Razu, Yet another smiling face to greet you during your adventure in the Maldives.

With one of the happiest personalities onboard, our Razu, from Nepal, will serve up sensations for the taste buds. His international creations will give you many flavors to explore and savor.

Be sure to tell him how much you enjoyed the meal and watch the smile get even bigger!

Pubudu

(Assistant Chef)

Pubudu comes from Sri lanka and he is the one that make sure that your plates comes with a nice decoration.
Attention to detail is the way.

Pubudu has a great personality and his smile is contagious.

Reehan

(Steward)

Reehan is originally from Aril Ato, Dhigura, in the Maldives.

He was very excited to join the crew of the Ocean Dancer and add that touch of class service that Stewards do in the Dancer Fleet. You will see his great smile and pleasant disposition with every meal he serves.
Reehan is proud to make every effort to meet every guests need while aboard the Ocean Dancer. 

Imthy

(Bartender)

Imthy traveled from Sri Lanka to join the Ocean Dancer, Imthy is known for his creative cocktails. 

Ask him about his special creation "The Ocean Dancer" when you are on board.

Ibrahim

(Room boy)

Ibrahim comes for south Island of Ari atoll in Maldives. He is the one one who takes care of your cabin on board always availabele for all your needs.

Ibrahim is the Maldivian peaceful free spirit in our crew. While you are diving or surfing he will tidy up your cabin and provide you fresh towels

Umeedh

(Engineer)

Comes to the Ocean Dancer from the Northern Island of the Maldives and welcomes making new friends. 

Umeedh is a behind the scenes man who will make sure your charter is a smooth running one. You may find him cleaning the boat,  working on maintenance projects throughout the day or assisting in any facet that allows you a pleasant safe day.

For fun he also performs a mean Bodu Berru, the local traditional dance. 

Ahamed

(Waiter/Room Boy)

Ahamed is one of our waiter on board. Always around you to assist and his friendly smile is infectious. Ahamed is also room boy and make sure your room is always neat.

Ahamed comes from Velidu Island . A well known fishing island famous for the construction of traditional local dhonis

Ahmed

(Dhoni Captain)

He is the one wh is in charge for the safety of the divesr and surfers in the water. He always has a eyes on you to make sure you get back on board when you need to. His is also taking care of all your equipment on board.

He comes from Maldives and know the reefs like his pocket.

Hassan

(Dhoni Crew)

Hassan is always around to help you with your equipments . Always so helpful, he is one of the favorite of our guests .

Everyone just loves Hassan, he is so special and so kind.
